God's Work. Our Hands.

Servant Ministry

St. Armands Key Lutheran Church is a community of Christians who enjoy joining together in the community and the world to work "hands-on" serving with their time and talents to benefit others.  Various Servant teams have traveled to locations to help with building churches or assisting in the recovery from a natural disaster.
If you are interested in participating in a Servant Team trip or local project, contact the church office at 941-388-1234 and ask to speak with someone from the Servant Team to find out about the current project.
Here is a link to follow along on the trip to Minot, North Dakota to assist in the rebuilding of Christ Lutheran Church and helping inside the home of a flood victim. Click here: Minot  For even more Pictures
The current local project is a Habitat for Humanity Lutheran Faith Build.  A duplex is being built with Manatee County Habitat for Humanity leading St. Armands Key Lutheran Church and five partner ELCA congregations at the Hope Landing in Ellenton, Florida.  Volunteers are welcome on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings 7:30 am - Noon.  Click here:  H4H Faith Build to see pictures of the volunteers and progress at the building site.
